GREECE, September 22 – September 29, 2015

Greece Photo 6Visitors and conquerors alike, since before recorded history, have been mesmerized by Greece’s beauty. From the rising sun’s piercing rays as they illuminate the monastery on Mount Athos to the long rays of warm setting sun on the stones of the ancient acropolis in Athens, this is a country whose soil, rivers and mountains have sustained a culture as complex as it is staggeringly beautiful.

Our photography workshop in Greece begins in Athens where, for a few days, participants will capture scenes of Athenian’s streets, of markets and of ancient temples. One day trip to the seaside village of Nafplio and time to photograph in Athens’ textural and complex neighborhoods supplement the time we work in the capital city of this incredible country.

On the afternoon of the fourth day of the workshop, participants fly to the island of Santorini. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the ancient sites and narrow pathways of this most unique of Greek isles. With three full days (1/2 day afternoon/evening on Day Five and the morning on day Seven) photographers will have plenty of time dedicated to capturing the unique light of this incredibly beautiful island.

While on Santorini, David will work with the participants in capturing the incredible sunsets from the edges of the magnificent and famous crater, so well known to the world. The afternoon of the last full workshop day, clients will return to Athens by air and will spend one final evening in one-on-one coaching sessions with David before enjoy a fabulous group dinner.

  • Bi-Lingual tour support throughout the workshop to assist participants in any way needed.
  • Itinerary planning assistance in advance of the workshop, to include recommendations for air travel to/from the United States, itinerary support for time before and/or after the workshop for additional travel is participants are interested in such services.
