In the aftermath of, now, two tremors which have shaken central Italy, a friend, Anne Robichaud, has shared some photos of the damage done to the small church of San Salvatore, near Norcia, in Umbria.
While there is little that can be done at this time, I am certain that once time allows those who have lost their homes to resettle there will be efforts made by the Italian art experts to assess the levels of damage and loss after these earthquakes. Perhaps some of these cultural treasures can be restored.
Please join me in continuing to pray for and send our best wishes to all of the people of central Italy.
